Co Hosting a Book Signing with Rob Lowe........To Coney, With Love

I am sharing this message from Katy Meyer Mark, former Coney employee, who is compiling stories for her book "To Coney, With Love". Please consider sharing your Coney memories ❤️

 

First, I want to thank all of the Save Coney Islanders for giving this effort your all.  You will be able to tell family it wasn’t without a fight.  Second, I think so many of you probably have the deepest connections with this historic venue. With that being said, I would love for you to help at the very least let us keep Coney Island alive in our hearts and memories.  I know this is too hard for some to sit down and write what Coney Island meant to them but I found it very therapeutic.  I lost the place my girls grew up and my favorite job ever.  It helped me though to write my thoughts in a positive way that will be printed in a book passed down for generations to come.  If you feel inclined to do so, we would love to have you submit your story and maybe even include some photos.  If you don’t know where to start, just go to www.britonpublishing.com, click on submissions and look at the categories.  You can do a few different ones or one longer one.  Thanks again for all you have done and continue to do.  We are hoping this book will be out before next summer which would have been the 100th anniversary of the pool.
